As of now, the New York Knicks hold the 19th and 21st pick in the 1st round of the draft this year. The Knicks have plenty of work to do this offseason, and this is one of them.

The Knicks have been in many trade talks with players like Collin Sexton, or possibilities of moving up in the draft. As of now, nothing has been made, therefore I will go through prospects to look at with the two first round picks. With the picks being so close, they can be interchangeable when you look at it. The Knicks could really use any position at this point, however I believe a guard and a big should be invested in with this draft. I will list some prospects with a brief opinion to look forward to when New York is up to pick.

Chris Duarte (SG:Oregon) - If he can fall to the Knicks, I believe this is a no brainer to pick. Duarte is a diamond in the rough in my opinion coming off a fantastic season at Oregon. He proved himself as a prolific scorer in college and could be a huge piece for scoring on New York.

Keon Johnson (SG:Tennessee) - Another player that could go a lot higher, so if he falls it could be a steal for New York. Another fairly good scorer and defender that is a proven great athlete. He could be a nice piece to bring some electricity off of the bench.

Cam Thomas (SG:LSU) - Cam came out as a big surprise his freshman year at LSU and is a fantastic scorer and playmaker. I believe Cam would be a great fit like Duarte to give a big boost offensively.

Trey Murphy (SF:Virginia) - A fantastic athlete that reminds me a lot of Obi Toppin. He can play multiple positions and run the floor as a small big. He also has proven himself defensively and as a perimeter shooter to help stretch the floor. I think New York would be a perfect fit for him if he falls.

Isaiah Jackson (C:Kentucky) - Another big that could be useful for the Knicks, especially on the defensive end. He is a great stick in the paint that can defend and grab rebounds. He can be a nice piece to plug right into the rotation and make an impact.

Isaiah Todd (PF:G-League) - Has tons of potential with his athletic ability. He can run the floor with his frame and is able to stretch the floor with his shooting ability. He can be a very nice offensive piece to have down low for the Knicks.

Jared Butler (PG:Baylor) - Coming off a championship and a fantastic season, Butler looked like a veteran player already. His ability on both sides of the ball is impressive, and the flow of his game could be crucial for a Knicks team.

Ayo Dosunmu (PG:Illinois) - A great scorer that lead an underrated Illinois team to the top of college basketball. He can be another great spark player for the Knicks that puts the ball in the net.
