The past week in the league has brought us some interesting talking points. To start things off, can anyone maintain a lead this season? We saw comeback wins from the Jets, Cardinals, and Dolphins. All of them were in at least two score deficits in the fourth quarter as well. Even the Falcons were close to rewriting their story when the word comeback comes up, but ultimately fell short 31-27 to the Rams. Most of the games on Sunday were also closely scored matchups, which looks better for football fans. One of the games that wasn't close was the Jaguars vs. Colts. Even with the Colts struggling in Week One, it was still assumed they would do well against the Jags. Unfortunately for Indianapolis, this was not the case as Jacksonville rolled over them in a 24-0 shutout victory. Zero is also the number of suspensions Marshon Lattimore is getting after the scuffle with the Buccaneers. Mike Evans on the other hand is facing a one game suspension after checking Lattimore into the ground after exchanging words with Tom Brady. This surprisingly sparked the Bucs in the game as the game was knotted at 3-3, but turned into a 20-10 victory. This rivalry with Saints continues to heat up, and will be looked forward to in Week 13. Two other division rival games brought us some better indication of a few teams. The Chiefs ended up outlasting the Chargers in 27-24 victory. We can confidently say these two teams are among the top of the AFC and proved to have two of the best quarterbacks in the league. The other primetime game helped to see the Packers bounce back and look more like the Packers after a 27-10 win against the Bears. The week was rounded out by two dominant performances by the Eagles and Bills. Buffalo sustaining themselves as the Super Bowl favorites after a 41-7 slaughter against Tennessee. While Philadelphia dominated Minnesota in a statement win, 24-7. An interesting week around the league to say the least.
