Below will be predictions for each individual award around the league for the new season.
MVP:
Joe Burrow - QB
(Runner-Ups: Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Aaron Rodgers, Trevor Lawrence)
2022 Stats - 35 TD, 12 INT, 4,475 YDS
Coming off another impressive year, I believe that it could be the year Burrow earns his first MVP in the league. The Bengals should be suited for another big playoff run with Burrow at the reigns. With an improved offensive line and some of the best weapons in the league, he should be able to easily reach the top of the top.
OPOY:
Christian McCaffrey - RB
(Runner-Ups: Justin Jefferson, Jalen Hurts)
2022 Stats - 1139 RUSH YDS, 8 TD, 741 REC YDS, 5 TD
With a full year to look forward to with his new team in San Fransisco, McCaffrey is primed for an electric season. The team will rely heavily on the multi-purpose back as Brock Purdy will be running the offense full time. With his ability to catch and run the ball, McCaffrey should be one of the best offensive players of the season while leading his team.
DPOY:
TJ Watt - LB
(Runner-Ups: Micah Parsons, Nick Bosa)
2022 Stats - 39 TKL, 5.5 SK, 2 INT
Coming off a season where he missed a good portion, Watt is primed for yet another fantastic season. I expect him to be back in his natural form and lead the Steelers defense once again.
CPOY:
Matt Stafford - QB
(Runner-Ups: Breece Hall, Cooper Kupp)
2022 Stats: 10 TD, 8 INT, 2087 YDS
After missing half of the past season, Stafford could be looking to get back in form with the Rams. The last time he played a full season was when the team won the Super Bowl. Having Kupp return alongside of him will be a huge help to boost him to one of the top returning players in the league.
OROY:
CJ Stroud - QB
(Runner-Ups: Bijan Robinson, Bryce Young)
Round 1, Pick 2, Ohio State
Stroud is coming off an incredible collegiate career and is looking to continue that success in the big league. He has the poise as a quarterback to be one of the best in the near future. With an improving roster and new head coach in Houston, Stroud could help the team get even better and pick up key victories. I believe he will prove himself in this first year as one of the best rookies from this draft offensively.
DROY:
Will Anderson Jr. - LB
(Runner-Ups: Jalen Carter, Christian Gonzalez)
Round 1, Pick 3, Alabama
Just like his rookie teammate in CJ Stroud, Anderson is coming off a great career at Alabama. He has been praised as one of the best defensive prospects as of late and has all the potential in the world. I believe him to make an immediate impact and prove why he was picked so high as a linebacker.
COY:
Robert Saleh - New York Jets
(Runner-Ups: Dan Campbell, Arthur Smith, Zac Taylor, Nick Sirianni)
2022 Record - 7-10
With a bunch of new additions and already growing team, Saleh has a good looking roster heading in to the new season. The Jets are expected to perform even better this season with new quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the backbone. This team should be able to impress people and make a run in the playoffs, especially with a passionate coach like Saleh.
