NFC East:

  1. Eagles 11-6

  2. Cowboys 9-8

  3. Commanders 7-10

  4. Giants 5-12

This division has been bad the last few years and most likely won't show too much more promise this year. I believe the standings will be nearly identical from last year besides the Eagles and Cowboys switching spots. The Eagles had one of the best off-seasons when it comes to new additions, such as AJ Brown and James Bradberry. This would help lead to them having an improved year, and a division title. The Cowboys are starting to lose some players, and faith along with that. This would lead them to a fairly average year, and makes me believe 2nd place is their ceiling. As for the Commanders and Giants, I don't believe them to be improved very much at all. The Commanders have question marks at the quarterback position currently, and still aren't over that hump quite yet. The Giants will be the worst team in the division most likely and seem to not be doing anything to help them to succeed over that repeating hole they are in currently.

NFC West:

  1. Rams 13-4

  2. 49ers 11-6

  3. Cardinals 9-8

  4. Seahawks 3-14

The West should be a formidable division once again, considering they produced the two teams in the NFC Championship last season. With the Rams coming off of the title, and making even more additions such as Allen Robinson in the offseason, it leads to me believing they are the Super Bowl favorites this season as well. After the Rams is the 49ers, who will most likely fall short of the Rams once again in the standings. With what looks to be a quarterback with no experience starting for them, I have question marks for the team overall. However, they should be able to produce similarly to last year in hopes Trey Lance can be that next star they believe him to be. I expect the Cardinals to have a somewhat down year as their team is questionable defensively, and puts them in third place in the wild card mix. This leads into the Seahawks who just lost Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner. I expect them to be one of the worst teams in the league in potentially a rebuilding mode from here on out.

NFC North:

  1. Vikings 11-6

  2. Packers 11-6

  3. Bears 8-9

  4. Lions 5-12

This division is an interesting one as anything could happen now. I believe the Vikings to have a much improved year with a sound roster and new Head Coach. With that being said, a fight for 1st place is very reasonable, especially after a couple question marks in Green Bay. The Packers did lose star Davante Adams, which could be a huge alter in the offense, or it couldn't, who knows? This still leads me to believe the Packers won't be insanely good and could leave a gap for Minnesota. I think both teams have similar seasons, but the Vikings inch them out. Then is the Bears, which should continue to improve and have something to look forward to with QB Justin Fields. They most likely won't make the playoffs, but should have a reasonable season. This then leads into the Lions, who continue to make very good decisions through the draft. Their team has loads of promise and should be improved this year, while continuing to grow with Head Coach Dan Campbell.

NFC South:

  1. Buccaneers 12-5

  2. Saints 9-8

  3. Falcons 6-11

  4. Panthers 4-13

Lastly is the South, where I think we can all agree has an outright winner already. With Tom Brady coming out of a short retirement and returning to the team, the Buccaneers should have a good season along with contending in the playoffs. This would lead to them winning the division easily. After that should be another easy decision in the Saints. I still have questions about Jameis Winston coming off of an injury, but they still have a solid roster around him. As long as they can stay healthy, I believe them to be fighting for a wild card spot and 2nd place in the division. After those two teams it's a toss up to be honest. Both the Falcons and Panthers have some problems at the quarterback position and aren't fully able to compete in the division yet. I do believe the Falcons to be better and improved this year, especially with emerging star Kyle Pitts. The Panthers on the other hand, I would describe in just one word, "confusing".
