AFC East:

  1. Bills (14-3)

  2. Dolphins (10-7)

  3. Patriots (8-9)

  4. Jets (5-12)

I think we can all agree the Bills might be the best team in the NFL this upcoming season. With that being said, the division should be theirs fairly easy. The rest of the division doesn't pose much of a threat, even with the high hopes of the Dolphins with new star Tyreek Hill. The Dolphins and Patriots could even be in a race for 2nd place in the division, but I believe the Dolphins will have the edge with their roster and assuming Tua Tagovailoa has a much improved season. The Patriots had a surprising season last year with rookie QB Mac Jones, but haven't made much of an improvement at all. The Jets don't really have a chance per usual, however they have a lot to look forward to with their up-and-coming roster. They should be able to show glimpses of what the future can hold and try their best to get experience under their belt with the young squad.

AFC West:

  1. Chargers (12-5)

  2. Chiefs (11-6)

  3. Raiders (10-7)

  4. Broncos (10-7)

Easily the best division in football, with the possibility of all of the teams making the playoffs. Any of these teams can win the division and make a run in the playoffs easily. Big time acquisitions by all teams raised the level of the competitiveness to another level. Quarterback play will be key as Russell Wilson now enters the equation to an already stacked QB division. I believe the Chargers have done the most and will come out efficient on both sides of the ball to give them the edge in the division. Following them is the Chiefs, who some are writing off because of losses such as Tyreek Hill, but quite honestly shouldn't miss much of a beat considering their experience. This then leaves us with the Raiders and Broncos at the bottom, which I expect to have similar seasons, where they aren't quite to that top level yet despite huge acquisitions including Wilson and Davante Adams.

AFC North:

  1. Ravens (12-5)

  2. Bengals (11-6)

  3. Steelers (8-9)

  4. Browns (6-11)

This division is a big question mark to be honest. It should really be a two way race between the Ravens and Bengals. Baltimore was riddled with injuries last year and didn't get to show their potential, which is why getting key players back this year should lead them to a division title. The Bengals are coming off a Super Bowl performance, therefore shouldn't miss much of a beat. The Steelers will always be right there, the only problem is the quarterback position, otherwise they could be competing at the top. Finally, with the Browns are in yet another question mark season with controversy at their quarterback position in Deshaun Watson. This leads me to believe they won't be very successful this season.

AFC South:

  1. Colts (11-6)

  2. Titans (9-8)

  3. Jaguars (4-13)

  4. Texans (2-15)

With one of the lesser divisions in football, it's clearly only a two team race between the Colts and Titans. Colts are coming into the season with a new QB in veteran Matt Ryan, and MVP candidate Jonathan Taylor. I believe they will be improved on both sides of the ball and end up taking the division title. With the absence of AJ Brown and Julio Jones, the Titans offense might be missing a step. Derrick Henry will have to stay healthy for success on this season, which leads them to 2nd place. Rounding out the bottom are two teams that are rebuilding, which should lead the Jags to slightly improve and the Texans to be the worst team in the NFL.
